SANDRA transitioned to the film industry from a background in architecture, INTERESTED IN tellING stories through design.

An alumni of the American Film Institute Conservatory with an MFA in Production Design, she is also a registered architect from Charleston, South Carolina with 20 years of experience in all facets of design, CONSTRUCTION, coordination, MANAGEMENT, AND presentation media.

Her diverse experience also includes owning her own design firm, DIY home renovations, four months studying abroad in Italy, custom furniture production including aging, faux finishing and gold- and silver-leafing, and short term work apprenticing a pewtersmith and drawing millwork.
